Where are you based?

I am based at my home in Weston-super-Mare but can travel throughout the area.. and further afield.

Are you mobile and is there a charge for travel?

I am mobile and there is no charge for travel in a 7 mile radius of my home (this includes most local wedding locations).

I can travel throughout North Somerset, Somerset and further afield.

After deducting the first 7 miles, mileage is charged at 25p a mile.

How far in advance should I book my appointment?

As soon as possible. Appointments are in high-demand, especially at the weekends, so it’s best to book as early as possible.

How do I pay the deposit to secure my booking?

Once you have contacted me, I will send you a detailed invoice which contains my bank details.

Are deposits refundable?

As per my Terms and Conditions, all deposits are non-refundable.

Which brands do you use?

I use a variety of high quality products. Some examples are;

The Ordinary, Anastasia Beverley Hills, Illamasqua, Makeup Geek, RCMA, Ben Nye, Graftobian, Kryolan, Sonia Roselli, Smashbox, Sigma, Zoeva, and Charlotte Tilbury. I only use brands which are cruelty-free and do not test on animals.

Do you offer trials for special occasion makeup such as; proms, birthdays ?

Absolutely! Please get in touch to book your trial.

Can I buy a Gift Voucher?

Your Appointment

How can I prepare for my appointment?

Please arrive on time for your appointment with a clean face, free from makeup. I will cleanse your face as part of the application, so don't worry if this isn't possible.

Can I choose the colours and style of my makeup?

Of course! You’re welcome to bring along any ideas or photographs. I can advise on what will be best for you as an individual, whilst keeping the initial inspiration in mind.

If I have an allergy or sensitive skin, should I let you know about this?

At the start of your appointment I will ask you about your skin type, allergies and sensitivity. I will then use suitable products for your skin. However, if you have a number of allergies, or a relevant skin condition, it may not be safe to continue with the appointment and any monies will be returned to you.

Can I bring some of my own makeup?

Unfortunately I'm unable to use products other my own. I can't know how they'll work with my other products, and I am unable to guarantee the longevity or the finish. I have a wide selection of colours and tones, for all skin types, so I'm sure I'll have something suitable for you.

I'm not really a big 'makeup' person - are you able to cater for me?

Yes, 100% !! Its perfectly normal to feel a bit apprehensive if you're not used to wearing makeup - or even if you do wear it, letting someone apply it for you is quite a personal thing. You can rest assured that I will listen to what you like and don't like, and I'll do my best to make sure you are comfortable and happy with the look I create.


When should I have my bridal trial?

As soon as you can. It's important to have the trial so that you can decide if I'm the Makeup Artist for you. All trials are 'no obligation'.

Where should trials take place?

Ideally at my home, however I can travel to wherever is convenient. Feedback from friends and family is welcome at the end of the session however, to ensure that I give you the best service possible, I do politely ask that your consultation and trial are uninterrupted.

How far in advance do you take bookings?

I am taking bookings up until December 2021. Once the deposit has been paid, the date and price are secure.

How should I prepare for a bridal trial?

I advise my clients to start a good skincare regime as soon as possible, if you do not follow a routine already. If you're unsure, I'm happy to advise on this for you and can provide some good tips and recommendations. I can also discuss this in detail during the trial.

Do you provide a Contract/Terms and Conditions?

Every bridal booking will be accompanied by Terms and Conditions, which you will need to read, sign and return to me.

When do I pay my final balance?

I will send you a final invoice 4 weeks before the wedding, and the balance will be due 2 weeks before the wedding.

What is included in the Free Bridal Makeup Kit?

This handy kit contains; a compact mirror, a sample of the lipstick I used, a lipstick applicator, setting powder and sponge, a small eyelash glue and a makeup remover wipe.
